Laura Weston

Laura Weston is an artist who creates work inspired by a life long passion for day dreaming. She works in printmaking, drawing, textiles and applied art. 

On most days, with her head in the clouds, she is intrigued by subjects noticed day to day out of the corner of her eye. Snapshots of life yield collections :- cat, swan, whimbrel, self portrait – personally significant things that provide a jumping off point for creative exploration. A recent delightful muse is the West Kirby Marine Lake Cygnet. This year she will be sharing a new collection of textile/wooden brooches and ACEO (miniature collectable/original art measuring 2.5 x 3.5 inches)
