I have been making ceramics for 35 years and enjoy making thrown, decorative, functional work. I concentrate on form first then refining the surfaces of my pots so that they look very tactile. I don’t glaze the outer surface, only the inner but use oxides to make deep, inky, intense marks in repetitive patterns that look dramatic but soft against the white clay.
